By understanding the metrics related to user engagement , you can further optimize your optimization efforts. Use analytics data to understand how users interact with your site. Where are users going? How did we get there? At what point did you leave? Which pathway achieved the particular KPI? Engagement metrics are probably one of the most powerful tools in SEO. This data shows things like how your target users navigated your site, whether they resonated with you, and how satisfied they were with the experience you provided them. Below are some questions that engagement metrics can answer. [User click path] What is the natural flow that users choose through the site? Where are the points of exit and entry? Is there a dead end? Are there specific sections of the site that users find confusing? [Bounce rate] Why do pages with a large number of clicks have a high bounce rate? Does the experience offered at the location align with the experience users expect? Does the content resonate with users? Are there routes available to reach deeper into the site? Is there a clear path to a theoretically sound next step? *Remember that pages with a low bounce rate and fewer clicks are more valuable than pages with a higher bounce rate and more clicks.

Staying time] Is the average dwell time reasonable for the type of content? Are there any characteristics that pages with long dwell times have that pages with short dwell times do not?
